About Farid + Arjmand Architects
Farid + Arjmand Architects is an independent architecture studio founded in 2012 by Mostafa Farid and Saber Arjmand. Since its establishment, the studio has focused on delivering architecture that balances design quality, technical precision, and buildability.
Our work is driven by the belief that architecture should respond to the client, the site, and the project’s unique constraints rather than becoming an expression of the architect’s ego. Every project begins with careful analysis of context, lifestyle, function, climate, construction methods, and long-term performance before any design decisions are made.
Today, the studio specializes in architectural design, facade design, villa design, residential architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and detailed construction documentation, serving private clients and developers across Iran and the Middle East.
Founders
Mostafa Farid
Architect & Co-Founder
Mostafa Farid leads the architectural design process, concept development, and design strategy of the studio. His work focuses on creating architecture that combines strong visual identity with practical construction solutions.
Saber Arjmand
Architect & Co-Founder
Saber Arjmand is responsible for architectural development, design coordination, and technical detailing. His experience bridges conceptual design with executable architectural documentation.
Every architectural project produced by the studio is personally designed and supervised by both founders. Supporting team members contribute to technical drawings, BIM development, 3D modeling, visualization, and project documentation under their direct supervision.
Our Design Philosophy
At Farid + Arjmand Architects, design is never approached as the pursuit of a signature style.
We believe architecture should emerge from the client’s needs, the site’s opportunities, functional requirements, and construction realities. Whether a project calls for contemporary, neo-classical, classical, or minimalist architecture, our responsibility is to transform that vision into timeless, high-quality architecture rather than imposing a predetermined aesthetic.
This philosophy has become one of the defining characteristics of our practice throughout more than a decade of professional experience.
From Facades to Complete Architectural Design
The studio initially specialized in facade design, developing architectural skins for residential, commercial, and mixed-use buildings.

Since 2019, Farid + Arjmand Architects has expanded its activities beyond Iran, designing projects throughout the Middle East, particularly in Iraq and the Gulf region.
Working internationally has strengthened the studio’s expertise in cross-border collaboration, remote project management, international construction standards, and multidisciplinary coordination while allowing clients to benefit from a fully digital architectural workflow.
Design Before Construction
One of our core principles is minimizing the gap between design and execution.
Every project is developed with construction feasibility in mind from the earliest stages. Through detailed architectural documentation, coordinated engineering drawings, 3D visualization, and VR presentations, clients can understand the project long before construction begins.
This process significantly reduces uncertainty during execution while improving overall project quality.
Today
Beginning in 2023, the studio shifted its primary focus toward specialized architectural design services. Construction supervision and execution remain available only for selected projects where direct involvement adds value to the final outcome.
Today, every project at Farid + Arjmand Architects continues to be personally designed by Mostafa Farid and Saber Arjmand.
We believe that the best architecture is created when the designers remain directly involved throughout the creative process—from the first sketch to the final construction documents.
